I'm a pet portrait, equine and wildlife artist. I work with coloured pencil and pastel, using artist quality lightfast pencils and acid-free, archival paper to ensure the longevity of each piece.
I grew up in rural Perthshire, Scotland, and have always drawn inspiration from the wildlife that surrounds me. I began painting pets and Scottish wildfowl and, following a school exhibition in 2010, I received my first pet portrait commission and have been creating them ever since! Since then, my style has grown and evolved.
In July 2018 I started working as an artist full-time, with the main focus being commissioned pet portraits. Since then I have introduced wildlife pieces which allow me a bit more creative freedom, and colour!
My wildlife artwork mainly focuses on British wildlife, however for the last couple of years I have been living and working in Far North Queensland, Australia, and Tasmania. This has been a fantastic source of inspiration, from snorkelling with Green Sea Turtles to spying Platypus feeding in tropical creeks, it has exceeded all expectations. Iām now living in Edinburgh, Scotland, and plan to stay!

I have been fortunate to create bespoke brand-work for the National Trust for Scotland and bespoke artwork for All Souls College, Oxford. In 2021 I was selected to be the Artist in Action at the Scottish Game Fair, Scone Palace, where I will be returning in summer 2024.
